Red String Project. Relational Aesthetic / Performance with a really long red string. 2017 

About: The Red String is sometimes called the string of fate and is an invisible thread connecting us. The idea comes from Eastern Philosophy and is representative of the mesh of our lives and how each decision or interaction leads to a sequence. During my solo show, The Romanticism of Existing with Planck, if a guest chose to participate then they were attached to the string on the wrist. Soon there were folks connected all accross Parlor Gallery, which lead to some wonderfully silly and hilarious interactions. Even people that didn’t participate were still participating. This theme was also present in the resdiency Rivalry of Your Elements. 

I continued exploring this theme while traveling in Portugal at the Lisbon Cathedral’s archeological site with Roman ruins.
